Sertac Kaya started his professional DJ career in 1989 at Ankara Airport Club, where he received considerable help from Ugur Gundogan during advancement of his career.

Towards the end of 2001 Sertac began to make his first productions professionally as well as being a DJ. Sertac met with the ‘Pangea Recordings’ label with help of the famous American trance DJ Gianni and his manager Nick. The track which he wrote for his dead dog “Boncuk” was also the piece which introduced Sertac Kaya to the world market.

Sertac made several remixes with Jerry Bonham, Snake Sedrick, Andrew K, Alex Stealthy, Chris Conner, Evrydaydowners and numerous other producers. At the beginning of 2006 Sertac set up his own label “Kaya Records” and has released some widely played productions.
